Palermo Astronomical Observatory

The Palermo Astronomical Observatory (OAPa) is a facility of the Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica (INAF). Founded in 1790, it is one of the oldest observatories in Europe. In addition to astronomical research, it hosts an automated weather station in continuous operation since 2012.

OAPA Weather System

The OAPA-CR1000 meteorological series is acquired by a Campbell Scientific CR1000 data logger at one-minute resolution. Data are stored in a database and made available through this web interface.
